This is Interesting

The Washington Post, in a shocking editorial, admitted that not only does the Post have a Liberal/Left bias, but once you get away from DC, New York, LA and San Francisco, they don't have a clue about who or what the real culture of the Country is.

Well, kind of :-) Today, to the dismay of Liberals and the bemusement of Conservatives, the Post has started a new 'blog. It is called Red America, although the author points out that in the tremulous run up to it's carefully prepared launch some L³ Moonbat wanted to call it Red Dawn. The author thinks it was just out of abysmal ignorance. I'm not so sure. I think it was a Freudian slip.

The Moonbats really do see average Americans as some kind of invasion that is perverting the Perfect Socialist America that would exist if only we would trust our betters in the aforementioned L³iberal Enclaves and in academia to run our lives for us. They look out over the sea of red in "fly-over" country, and can't imagine how the primitives survive.

Funny, I feel the same. I look at places where a house that around here would be torn down and replaced is worth a quarter of a million dollars, traffic is god awful (I have a 30 minute commute on a bad day), crime is high, and I wonder how they stand it. Last time I was in DC I thought to my self "If I owned this place and Hell, I'd rent this place out, and live in Hell".

OK, I stole that last line :-), but it is really how I felt then. Having visited some of the other L³eftist "Dream Cities" since, I have to say I feel that way about all of them.

It will be interesting to see how long this thing with the Post lasts. The first step in overcoming a problem, in this case institutionalized Liberal Bias, is admitting you have a problem. Here's wishing the Post a successful recovery.
