Welcome To San Jose, Mr. President

President Bush will be arriving here in San Jose later this afternoon to present a volunteerism award to Joe Russo, an IBM retiree who has given years of service to a community center in the Willow Glen area of San Jose.

Bush, in town today to meet with business leaders, will take a moment to present Russo with the President's Volunteer Service Award. The 68-year-old IBM retiree is being honored for his dedication to the elderly at the Willows Senior Center, where he teaches computer classes.

He will also be participating in a discussion forum at Cisco Systems on a competitiveness plan. (click here for the story)

The moonbat anti-Bush left are planning protests.

Local news reports the protestors will be kept blocks away from where the President will be.

Later he will be taking a helicopter to Napa Valley (wine country).

Welcome to San Jose, Mr. President.
